Mimic Party Wiki

Privacy policy

Mimic Party Wiki has no accounts, no sign-up and no comment forms. It does not ask for your name or email address.

Analytics

When they are switched on, Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity measure how pages are used: pages viewed, time on page, approximate location and device type. Clarity starts once you first interact with a page (moving the mouse, a tap, a key press or the scroll wheel) and then records the session (clicks, scrolling and other interactions), tied to a pseudonymous ID kept in first-party cookies; Microsoft also sets its own cookies on clarity.ms and bing.com. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies to tell visits apart. Cloudflare, which serves the site, also counts page views with its cookie-free Web Analytics. You can block all of them with any tracker blocker or your browser's privacy settings.

Advertising

When advertising is switched on, the site shows ads from Adsterra. Ads load inside separate frames, and Adsterra and the advertisers it works with may use cookies or similar technology to measure and choose ads.

Content from other sites

Sound pack preview images load from Steam's servers. Video thumbnails load from YouTube's image server, and the video player itself loads from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain only after you press play. Links to Steam, Discord and other sites follow those sites' own policies.

Stored on your device

The site's own interface stores one thing: your light or dark theme choice, in your browser's local storage. The analytics and advertising cookies described above are set by those services when they are switched on.
